Family Day!

This weekend was treat! We had Family Day on Sunday, and we went to the Mall to spend money on the kids, and of corse ourselves. We as parents newer really spend money on ourselves and we always get the kids but who doesn't? Jayden loves being with his sister and I think Ava Loves to be around her big Brother! They are the cutest, and they were zoo good until the end of the day, when Ava started getting hungry and we were getting ready to leave and we got in the car to come home, so I just put her down, cause I think all it was, was that she wanted mommy to hold her, I picked her up laid her on my chest and in 2 mins she was out...that's all I wanted was my mommy!!! That is what makes the no sleep nights and the crying and screaming all about, when the kids want to be cuddled with and all you can do is hold them and put them to bed and then they feel safe!

Friday I took Ava to babies r us, and we had mommy and me day! Daddy was at work, and Jayden was in school, and mommy and Ava spent the day shopping! Yes I got her some things she needed and some for Jayden as well.
His teachers tell me he likes to play with the kitchen they have in class, so me and Dan are going to get him a kitchen to play with for Easter. I brought him some pretend food with pots and pans and he loved them so now he is cooking in his room on the table he eats on.
I saw the Step Up2 has a really great kitchen we were eyeing and I am pretty sure we will be getting that one it looks real and just like Mommy's kitchen!

When Can my 1 month old get her Ears Pierced?

Today we took Ava for her 1 month check up and I am so excited because I got to ask the dr. when she can get her ears pierced! (She turned 1 Mo. On March 20). The Dr. said I had to wait until she was at least 4 months because she needs her shots before she can get them done. I was asking for feedback on this on my FB Page and everyone had a different answer so I  just was gonna go with ask your dr. today.

Of corse she is dressed in her Carter's Gear as usual! Love this Pink/Gray Leopard 3 pc. outfit! And of corse I had to get the Bib, socks and headband to match!! My lil' Fashionista!!! Look at those checks!!! I just want to eat her up!!

It is still freezing so I can't dress her the way I want but I am hoping by this weekend we start to get better weather so we can start taking our walks like I used to do with Jayden. I still feel like I have a lot of weight to lose although, everyone says I look Fabulous for just have another child, I would like to get back down to what I weighed 2 summers ago. It will be a challenge but I will be planning a wedding soon, and I need to look Awesome for it! I am thinking I am going back to Weight Watchers, that helped me to control my food intake and eat the way I should for my diabetes! Good Luck to me I guess, right...LOL...I did it before and I know I can do it again, it is just a matter of getting started. Dan said he wants to quit smoking for me and our kids so that alone will be a struggle! We both have import goals we need to accomplish to see our children grow up and have their own children, so let the Struggles begin!

On another note,  These owl stickers for the onsies are so cute, I got them on Etsy and I love them they stick on and come off so you can reuse them.  This website I got them from and I love everything, they have, it was hard for me to chooses being as they have so much and the prices are reasonable.

Becoming a New Mom (Again)

Becoming a new mom all over again is a little overwhelming when you already have a 4 year old who is basically independent. To me anyway, that means potty trained and can eat all by himself. It is a change since we just got him in the past 6 months to become potty trained, and he still needs a little bit of work and the poo of it all. I cannot express enough how much it was hard to do while i was pregnant, especially feeling the way I was feeling during this pregnancy. Sick all day long, wanting to eat and couldn’t, plus my sugar was going crazy, and all I wanted were sweets to eat!!! He helps out a lot though especially at night, when it is time to get ready for bed. Thank God I have a child who likes to clean up and take a bath!!He even likes to watch mommy and daddy cook in the kitchen.
Just last year at this time, I was overcoming a miscarriage, and trying to get through the sadness and depression I was becoming a part of. It truly is a great change of pace to actually see my daughter even though I have had a rough pregnancy. But I always remember what the saying says: What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!! And I truly believe that! Me and dan have becoming more closer than ever, and yes we still argue but in reality what couple doesn’t argue? You tell me that you and your spouse or significant other doesn’t fight and yell at each other for something the other did or said, your are a bold face lier..LOL We are all guilty of the fighting especially over stupid things!!
